Purple Coneflower

Echinacea Purpurea

This is the first of a series of coneflower photos that I have taken.  They are one of the best flowers to photograph.  They photograph well in any kind of light and attract many insects for close-up shots.  This was taken in early morning light with the fuji finepix digital camera.
